Masters, Slaves and Imprints

"All credibility, all good conscience, all
evidence of truth come
only from the senses."........ Nietzsche
I want to
talk again about Frank, a 53 year-old man who is a writer and a director of commercials
and whom we have met before in other essays of mine, "Tear Down The
House", "Roundabout", and "Reflections on the Global
Financial Crisis."
DREAM 1
(Fragment)
A man was riding a donkey. The
donkey had two bags of wheat, one on each side. The man falls off the donkey
and the crowds around him begin talking. There were the people and religious
people. They began to discuss the nature of this man and the nature and reason
for his falling. The patient seeing and hearing all this became angrier and
angrier and he yelled to the crowd, "It's simple. Why don't you see the
simple truth? The man fell off the donkey. He fell off the donkey. That's
what happened."
The patient
went on to rail against the conditions of the world, the wars in the world,
people being killed everywhere and all of it was being apologized. There was
no outcry. It seemed to be taken quite for granted, "Even with our
politicians", he said. He said he thought the man was Christ and that
humanity had fallen away from Christ's message.
I agreed
with him and, "It would seem," I said, "despite the cathedrals,
the churches, the mosques, the temples - even though so called religious men
talk about the Christian path or the prophets path, and the Jews about the path
of living the pure life - none of it is true."
I said
further, "You remember Mary rode a donkey to the manger to give birth to
Christ. She was carrying the avatar. You remember Christ comes to his city on
Palm Sunday and again the donkey is carrying the avatar. The donkey is
carrying a new state of awareness, Christ's consciousness going to his death.
So there is life and death symbolized by the donkey."
DREAM 2
I am
working on my house, painting and then stenciling, which is very complex and
which gave me anxiety since I had never done this before. I am so angry about
this town and its phoniness, its shallowness, its absolutely caring for nothing except
money and power. And all of this while their personal lives are hellish, I
know. I am enraged by what I read in the papers or see on TV about the world,
about our country. Everything is out of control. It is so big out of control,
like the bailout, big-time and out of control and of more shifting of the
wealth of the people to the few rich who have no qualms about taking it.
The
President says - all Presidents say - in times of trouble, "Now the
country has to pull together. Sacrifices will have to be made. The people
will have to tighten their belts." It is infuriating. There seems to be
no knowledge that lots of people have already tightened their belts, more
people are on the rolls of the unemployed and the soup kitchens. The people
always come through. They are called upon to sacrifice and they do. But why
is there no mention made to the big corporations and the really rich and
powerful. Why is there no exhortation for them to make sacrifices? They are
never called upon to tighten their belts. It is enough to make a revolution,
especially when you see the rich get a handout and the poor get a kick in the
ass. Why have I never heard a member of Congress say we supported a trillion
dollar war for no war, a trillion dollars that could have bought health for
everybody, fixed every bridge and every road in the country and built an
infrastructure and new schools and colleges. I have never heard anyone make
that statement. I am sorry I just had to get that off my chest. This is my
dream.
DREAM 1
(continued)
There is
some awareness of a large swimming pool in the dream. Masses of people are marching.
Meanwhile I am at one of the houses I lived in when my children were young, a
badly built house. It always bothered me how shoddy it was put together. The
yard is split into three sections; the front, the middle, where the house was,
and the backyard. There are quite a few men in the yard - elders, some of them
with beards, life Rabbis and ministers, discussing symbols very earnestly.
There are three symbols. I can't remember the first two but the third is of a man falling
off a donkey. There are two bundles of wheat attached to either side of the
donkey where the saddle would be. The men discuss and discuss the symbol. I
finally say, "Look it means he fell off the donkey". Somehow this
makes it clear that the masses of people who are marching are
nonsensical. I wait, I drift, I fall back to sleep. The dream continues.
People
are standing in a group. It seems they are in a European city. There is a bit
of a harbor. It is night. There are soldiers or guards around these people.
Suddenly a boy runs. It is not clear why. One of the soldiers turns and
shoots him. Everyone else - adults and couples - start to dance. It seems
they know they are going to be killed next. My feeling is that they know they
are about to be riddled with bullets so in these last moments they decide,
"Let's dance."
ASSOCIATIONS
Dr. Bail:
I understand your frustration. I think it echoes the masses. Let's take
it up in order. What about this house and this time of your life?
Patient:
This was a very hard time trying to work, to help the kids and my relationship
with my wife was not good. In fact, looking back, they were terrible times and
at times very, very terrible. I think we have talked about them in the past.
You remember my breaking things, wanting to kill myself, running out of the
house, crazy things.
Dr. Bail:
It could be said the shoddy house is your way of recalling to yourself the
nature of your personality which contributed a lot to the dysfunction and the
consequent difficulties.
Patient: No
question about that and I didn't really know then like I know now about myself.
Dr. Bail:
What about the Rabbis and the ministers?
Patient: I
think they are the doctors I saw and then later the endless talking of the
religious people I had to come in contact with when I was younger and now I
would add they are the politicians, the media, the talking heads who talk and
talk. They are supposed to be the elders, the wise, but they are all frauds.
Dr. Bail:
Would that then be you who fell off the donkey and you were screaming at them,
"Look I fell off." They were interested in talking and theorizing
about the symbol. The symbol obviously is religion because three represents
the trinity. And the European city?
Patient: I
don't know. It could be France, Italy or Germany. All of them have seacoasts. I
couldn't tell. Maybe this was Nazi Germany. The Nazis killed the helpless.
Dr. Bail:
And the boy?
Patient:
Cut down in his childhood before he had a chance to grow up and do or know too
much of anything. I may be thinking of the early thirties in Germany. The masses would be all those
the regime marked for death. Many of those denied the fact for years and died
because of their denial.
Dr. Bail:
That must be the dancing, the denial. Lets go back to the man falling off the
donkey. Isn't that a world famous fact and symbol?
Patient:
Yeah. Jesus on the donkey.
Dr. Bail:
As the story goes, isn't it interesting that Mary, mother of Jesus, rode
on a donkey and found the manger, gave birth in a manger. She was carrying the
Avatar. And now it’s Jesus on a donkey riding into Jerusalem on what we call Palm Sunday to his
death. But I think you were talking symbolically here. First it is you that
fell off the donkey of spirituality where, notice, there are two bags of wheat
signifying abundance if you stay on the donkey. The man represents mankind
too. The Rabbis and the ministers will keep talking and we might include the
politicians and the media who talk and talk. The point is that when mankind
falls away from true spirituality, there will be every calamity known to man
from ancient times to now happening. There will be brutish instincts in action
which will be rationalized to appear acceptable. It is not enough for them to
be only talking. The leaders have got to get back on the donkey. They have to
show the people the way. At this point it appears that all the leaders only go to a place of worship and hear sermons. They think that is enough.
It is not
enough to get back on the donkey and not the same, especially the donkey of
their unconscious, which has within it the solution to the abundance that is
available to everyone. Lastly, remember the donkey is known for its
stubbornness and mankind is stubbornly and slowly going along its path toward
its goal of attaining the consciousness it needs, for that goal is encoded in
everyone despite the politicians, etc.
COMMENTARY
This is a
wonderful dream that illustrates how the unconscious can bring to consciousness
information about the personality structure of the patient, the consequence of
that shoddily built house. It conveys the futility of the wise men, the
elders, who talk about the phenomena and reveal that though they are called the
elders, they are not the wise elders. Their talking is a ploy to give the
impression of wisdom but nothing is accomplished either for the patient or for
the citizen. The people see what their end is, for when leaders fall away from
their spirituality, only false solutions will be put forward and when they
don't work and the people get enraged, as they will do, as people have always
done in these thousands of years, the leaders will not hesitate to murder them
which has also been done. The dream makes it clear that the solution for man's
straying away from the God within is to go to the unconscious. There is where
the two bags of wheat reside.
THE MAN ON THE DONKEY
The
following is a brief walk through the evolution of consciousness, beginning
with man's appearance on earth some ninety thousand years ago in Africa
because, when the ocean receded, that was the first land mass available where
God created Man and as other land masses emerged, these early creatures spread
and populated the terrain that opened before them and around them.
In the
evolution of consciousness a few people are discovering they can master life.
This fact is built upon the discovery of the unconscious. Here is not only
found harmony of intelligence but the harmony or disharmony (dysfunction) of
the emotions. It is axiomatic that these dysfunctional emotions can lead to
dysfunctional intelligence and all the consequences of that state of mind.
Harmony of the intelligence and the emotional life within can lead to the power
of free will, the power of choice, to change the dynamics of our living
qualities. Humanity is striving to come into its own.
In the
beginning of time, one's physical strength began to determine the quality of
mastery. Then from this quality of physical strength it went to mental
strength and when one's soul began to distinguish qualities more advanced than
others, then the separation of master and slave began. From the standpoint of
the human being and Source, the human being had to learn how to live under the
conditions of earth; this, thousands of years ago. When it appeared that human
beings had no control over their belief system and were slaves to their living,
the Source or God was the master and all human beings were slaves.
Concerning
masters and slaves, we are seeing what humanity is allowing. The sensations of
being a slave on the earth plain is in contrast to those who have the
"magic" to be stronger and become the masters or authorities over the
people called slaves. What is this about? It is about the evolution of
consciousness and always has been. When humanity began to exist on the earth,
human beings had to find harmony amongst each other in order to grow and
advance. Yet what did take place? For one, in the consciousness of human
beings that separation and awareness of consciousness and the belief that there
was something greater than the self, created a difference between slave and
master. This serves as a paradigm for slave and master on earth.
In
evolution, as the human quality of the soul on its journey began to feel more separate
from Source itself, it stirred fears. There were a number of situations that
created fear. Fear stirred by nature, by the interaction of humans to other
humans, animals to humans and the plant world that could poison a body.
Observers could watch a body in illness and death. There appeared to be
nothing in charge of or in control of man and the imprint of fear began.
Therefore, as impregnation occurred, mothers were already in a state of fear
and began impressing upon the child or fetus, "I don't know how you can
survive. I do not know how you will live." So the mother evolution
remembers this emotional stress and there would be further imprints to the
unconscious of each soul.
The
particular imprint of the mother in her individuated self began some 30
thousand years ago, the mother's imprint as we know it today. Every human
being is encoded with an initial energy of the soul out of the womb of the
Great Mother. This entity, meaning the Great Mother, did not leave a
challenging imprint to the soul so there was originally free will. With the
addition of human fears came human feelings in the entire positive range and in
the negative range. Therefore, we find the gravity of the challenges we see
people struggle with every day, without the awareness of where these conflicts
come from, especially those burdening the fetus within as well as a host of
other negative messages. So considering this, although there is a fundamental
free will, it is made impotent until the mother's imprint is acknowledged and
overcome; truly, for there to be free will there must be the knowledge.
It was not
the intent of God for the human being to be separated from Source itself. As
God released itself into the form now called the polarities, there were
universal laws also provided. Each universal law has its own frequency,
positive or negative, good or evil (challenges). All of it is in the service
of the freedom of exploration open to humanity.
Humanity as
it has been evolving has become afraid of the exploration of its own
consciousness - its Source self. Humanity has slipped away from the realities
of itself. Nonetheless, encoded in everyone is the knowledge and wisdom of its
Source self.
In the
beginning, there was what is called the Supernal Triad on the Tree of Life,
that which is called White, that which is called Silver and that which is of a
very dark Indigo called Black. Out of that Black Indigo came the birth of all
souls on the earth plain called Africa. This was part of the first jutting energy of matter, out of the
ocean, and as the mass matter grew out of the water, these first souls could
migrate. Man explored that essence we call Divine within themselves, the
imprint of the wholeness of their being. They knew for themselves the imprint
of the wholeness of their being. They knew for themselves how to maneuver
themselves through their daily activities, through heat and cold, through storm
and balminess. They knew how to utilize shelter, whether a cave or tree. The
imprint of themselves with others was with wholeness. Therefore they
recognized each other, the purpose of living together upon the earth, to begin
the exploration of the individuated points of that which is called God. They
were doing then what we are attempting to do now. In that exploration of
individuation there developed a process called evolution. In the evolution
there was the evolution of separation, the reality that one is separating from
its purpose, its Source self. All souls who journeyed to the earth and other places
of matter, agreed to experience such separation.
Re the Tree
of Life, this quality is the representation of all existence. In that
existence there are particles and ways. There is a space for people and a
space for animals, a space for minerals and a space for plants, a space for the
galaxies and the ethereal vibrations seen and unseen. It is in honor of
Source. On the tree of life there is a station of consciousness, the Supernal
Triad. This Trinity consists of the higher points of knowledge that every soul
contains and when it evolves through different stations, different galaxies,
different life experiences, it experiences the separation of the Supernal in
its purest state of existence. The Supernal Triad consists of the Holy Father
(masculine), the Holy Mother (feminine) and the Total Union, which is totally
unnamable and simply called the Source, the undivided You. Every soul in its
evolution moves from that Undivided state into the divided processes. That is
what we call the separation. It is an intense, encoded vibration in every cell
in every soul to return to the oneness. We are now returning on the
evolutionary spiral to union, going back to where we were.
In the
journey of separation, more and more of a splitting of consciousness, now
called a dysfunction of consciousness, was occurring. An imprint then became
stronger, that is man's imprint given to him unconsciously by his mother.
In the
memory process of the human being, Source self began to deteriorate. What did
the human being then have to relate to but the mother? The physical mother had
the mystery; she had the belly carrying another life. She was therefore placed
in high honor in the earliest times of separation since the memory of God was
dimming. Then fears began to step forward and all of humanity was imprinted
with fear. The mother, embracing the fears, began the stronger evolution of
lack, the fearfulness of life; fear of abandoning the processes of life, fears
of harm, fears of the birth of a child, the prick of a tree branch and the bite
of an animal, all human fears.
In the
earliest existence of the human form, there was no term, no arrangement, called
marriage. It was simply physical activity. In the early times of separation
it was not recognized that this man was the father of this child for there was
not yet the discovery of cause and effect. Men and women had become
animalistic. It was the call to union at the physical level. It was a long
time before man made the proper connection.
Early man
was in the way of discovery. He began to unfold awareness but was not yet
capable of coming to conclusions. His mind was not fully functioning but he
was exceedingly observant. As evolution got stronger, observation taught him
to assimilate occurrences and what we call habitual realities such as weather
storms, seasons. He marked an awareness of cycles of the plants, the animals
and of himself. Deduction was a long time coming, thousands of years. In the
early times of evolution, the phenomena of storms and the other cycles of
disaster could not be deciphered. There was no ability for cause and effect.
It was felt that people were in the hands of a great master, an unseen and
unknown reality called God. Naturally there was fear of this God. There was
no knowledge of how they could work with this energy. It simply occurred and
destroyed. At the same time it brought them the nurturance of food but fear
remained. Men survived the ice age and the floods: though many died. Those
few who did survive, repopulated the planet. That one could ignite a fire was
unknown. Fires were seen as the passageway of storms or the greater feat that
developed earth. As the human mind observed, it eventually got around to
deduce - this happens and then that. These phenomena led to the worship of
Gods of everything happening of a catastrophic nature. All these happenings
were feared and so was the God who controlled the happening.
Man feeling
helpless before the forces of nature, the forces of animals, the hostile force
of other humans, hit upon an imitative magic. Since what made men feel good
was eating, having a full stomach, so the idea was to feed the God in
propitiation. However, when this did not stop the catastrophes, it was thought
that something more important than animals had to be killed, for example a
human being. Even that did not give these people the peace that they wanted
and all of this was a result of an incompletion of comprehension. The minds of
the priests were occupied constantly with what they could do to appease an
insensible God they feared.
Every
experience one has becomes a memory. In our generation on earth we remember
what is uncomfortable, that which is our parental imprint, that which is called
experience, which reinforces our fear. When you come into the memory bank, it
is not only a lifetime but evolutions of lifetimes that become overwhelming,
almost insurmountable, when there is only the belief in yourself separated from
Source. When there is a belief you are truly not separated from Source, there
is the knowledge that the love from the great Source flowing through you will
heal the memory bank and you will not be afraid to dip into the unconscious.
In the unconscious there is not only the fear, there is the creative power, the
life within you, the freedom of your spirit self.
Human
beings feel they must not release the pride of who they are. This is part of
the slave mentality. Humility is truly an act of knowing you are important and
at the same time honoring the importance of all people. Each individual
carries an impact into the world. That of humility is honoring your impact and
honoring the impact of others.
What
Christ really says is, "Come out of your ignorance into the ultimate
passages of Source, which is Love. In each of us this Love, this dynamic, is
that you and Source are one. In so knowing, he is saying, 'Repeat what I do.
In so doing you will find the oneness of Source in you and as you do that you
too will recognize the greater power of healing, the greater power of
comprehension, the greater power of Love, the greater power of abundance, the
greater power of it all. Do what I do and you will discover.'
Simply
put the ultimate purpose of life, whatever we do in life, bricklayer, shop
keeper, financier, doctor, politician, actor - all of which is how we pass our
time on earth - the ultimate purpose is to make ourselves aware of our higher
selves which can put us in touch with Source.
We are
striving for humanity to come into it's own. The more we align with it, the
more we will realize there are no masters, there are no slaves.
